Rajamouli’s Warning To Prabhas

It is heard that director S S Rajamouli might appear as a sweet looking soft spoken person but when it comes to work he is a tough taskmaster who will not compromise on an inch.  This is one reason why some of the actors gets squeezed to the last drop of their juice when working with him. Currently, one hero in the grindstone is Prabhas.  Prabhas is working with Rajamouli for the film ‘Bahubali’ and it is heard that recently Rajamouli gave him a warning.

The warning was not to give public appearances with the beard that Prabhas has grown. Apparently, the young rebel star was expected for ‘Satya 2’ audio release. But he could not make it due to some reasons. However, few say it is also due to the dynamite that Rajamouli has given.  Buzz is that when Rajamouli is on the job, some of the biggest stars have no choice but to listen to him.

Venky Not Keen On Going Solo?

The genre of multi-starrer movies has been quite less in the Tollywood circuit. But in Bollywood even the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and others are willing to take up multi-starrers even if their role is less. In Telugu that situation is not there. But once in a while films like ‘SVSC’ will come. Currently hero Venkatesh has teamed up with Ram for the new movie ‘Masala’ and it is heard that Venky is not showing that much of interest to do solo lead roles.

Buzz is that whenever Venky is being approached by directors he is reportedly stating that he is fit only for family entertainers. Instead he is reportedly suggesting that in order to have some romance, fights and song masala it is better to rope in a young hero and along with that make a character which suits Venky’s image. As such, Venky’s position as a hero is still intact but in order to ensure longer innings of career it is a wise move to take such measures. –

Pawan’s Director Slips Tongue Again

Director Harish Shankar, who shot to fame with the super success of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ is yet to come into reality it seems. His loose talk on media people is still not getting controlled and here is a latest update.

‘These film photographers are doing over action’, said Harish Shankar, during the audio launch of ‘Second Hand’ movie produced by writer BVS Ravi. Generally photo-journalists are little busy at these occasions as they have to cover many moments in a short span. Without understanding the hard work these photographers are putting up, Harish completely mistook them and slipped his bone-less tongue again. Earlier the director is heard saying that without his ‘tweets’ web-medias cannot exist.

Film journalists and photographers are said to be thinking seriously about handling Harish Shankar’s attitude. Maybe he is on top now due to a couple of hits, but let us not forget the other side too. Let us see what our energetic director will say/tweet about this.

‘No Conversation Between Sachin, Patil’

“There is no truth in the report. We have spoken to both Tendulkar and Patil, no such conversation ever took place,” said senior Board official Rajeev Shukla. Speculation was rife that the series against the West Indies could be the swansong for Tendulkar, but Patil himself also denied discussing the future with the senior cricketer. “It’s always a pleasure to meet Sachin, but I have not met him for the last 10 months. I have not called him, neither has he called me. We have not discussed anything, It’s all non-sense,” Patil said.

The report had stated that Patil met Tendulkar after the BCCI penciled in an unscheduled tour against the West Indies at home in November comprising a two-Test series and a three-game ODI rubber. The report also hinted that Patil had told Tendulkar that the selectors will decide the batsman’s future after his much-awaited 200th Test appearance, which is expected to happen in the two-match home series against the West Indies. “Patil spoke to Sachin Tendulkar and made him understand the entire scenario. He even told him about the selectors’ plan for the next one year and how they were looking to blood more youngsters,” the unnamed selector has been quoted as saying in the report.

The 40-year-old batting great, who has scored close to 16000 runs in Tests, has had a lean run especially over the last couple of years. He has scored only two half centuries in the last 10 Test matches India have played at home, against New Zealand, England and Australia, and his last Test hundred (146) was in an away Test at Cape Town against South Africa in January, 2011.

Charan Wants Rest, NTR Wants Test?

This time it looks like Young Tiger is in the pursuit of testing waters while Ram Charan just want to see and relax. With agitations blowing the trumpets at peaks, our star heroes are getting ready to face the music one by one.

Ram Charan has tested the mood of Seemandhra people and Telangana agitators by releasing his Thoofan at a time when people are busy with non-stop agitations. Though he faced opposition in some areas about release of Thoofan, rest of the places the movie was exhibited without any hurdles. However the poor content has taken toll on Charan’s luck anyway. Now, Charan’s Yevadu is in the pipeline again but sources say producer Dil Raju is keen to push Jr NTR’s Ramayya Vastavayya first. Though he blocked theatres for Sankranthi 2014 already, it looks like NTR’s movie will make it to theatres in October second week itself.

It looks like Jr NTR himself is pressurizing Dil Raju to push Ramayya Vastavayya first. As such Junior will come to know what agitators will do to his flick with this release, he will plan better for his future stints. Otherwise, why would NTR love to release his movie at a time when agitations in Seemandhra are not dying down?

‘Aditya 369’ Will Be His 100th Film.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of those senior stars of Tollywood who created a new revolution at box office during one time. Today he is slowly reaching the end of his career as a star hero. But this has also brought him closer to one milestone. Balayya is on his way to complete 100 films as an actor.

From the past few months, the discussions about Balayya’s 100th film have been happening and many speculations came in. But now it is being said that the 100th film is confirmed. If everything goes well then ‘Aditya 999’ the sequel of Balayya’s yesteryears hit 

 

This is being directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and it is heard that a totally new technique is going to be employed in shooting this film. Hearing the script and the making process, Balayya is reportedly excited and he might get into this film as soon as he completes the film with Boyapati Sreenu.

Film Industry and Sentiments go hand-in-hand. A super hit combo is what most of the filmmakers would prefer while choosing the cast of their movies. Especially, if it is a lead pair such elements are a must. One such  is Ram Charan-Kajal Agarwal!

After delivering an Industry Hit like ‘Magadheera’ with their first film, Charan and Kajal scored another hit with the Sankranthi release ‘Naayak’ thus earning the tag hit pair. Obviously, Directors would try to bring them together again to recreate the magic and Krishna Vamsi has done exactly the same. Kajal have been roped to play the leading lady in Charan’s multi-starrer project which also stars Superstar Krishna and Victory Venkatesh. Although Samantha was the first choice for female lead, our golden-leg beauty turned down the offer citing date issues and Kajal grabbed the crazy project. Officially, Magadheera pair is back once again to enthrall the movie lovers.

On the other hand, Anjali has been cast opposite Venky in this family entertainer. Bandla Ganesh is likely to produce this flick under his Parameswara Art Productions on a grand scale. The regular shoot is expected to begin in October this year.

Teacher’s role crucial in bifurcation!

 Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy has said the teachers’ role was pivotal in the creation of separate Telangana State.

Addressing the PRTU conference held at PRTU Bhavan, Himayath Nagar here on Monday, Jana Reddy said he would strive for sanction of ad hoc allowance for teachers if implementation of the 10th PRC was delayed.

Stating that the Seemandhra employees were under wrong impression that something bad will happen to them in the event of division of the State, Jana Reddy said the government would contemplate an amendment to Article 371D, which was obstructing teachers service rules.

Allu Arjun Fighting Along With 100 Fighters!

There were lot of speculations on Allu Arjun’s project Race Gurram directed by Surender Reddy. Many felt that since the project went to sets without any bound script, there is undue delay in the film.

The film is once again in news with Bunny fighting on bikes. Filmmakers are caning breathtaking action scenes with Allu Arjun fighting on bike along with 100 fighters at Madhapur, Hyderabad.

Earlier Allu Arjun danced to a fast beat song Ek Do Teen tuned by Thaman. Film stars Shruti Hasan and Saloni. Nallamalapu Bujji and Dr.Surender Reddy are producing the film. Allu Arjun scored a hit romancing Catherine Tresa and Amala Paul in Iddarammayilatho under the direction of Puri Jagannath.
